Softros LAN Messenger allows communicating with other people in the same local area network. The application lets you exchange not only messages but also files. The tool has a very simple graphic user interface, which is very similar to those of other messengers. It can automatically show the names of the users, both online and offline. However, you can easily tell the program not to show offline users. Furthermore, you can organize users into groups, which is very useful to broadcast messages to several people. Finally, the messenger allows multiple users to participate in a group conversation.
The application has other features. If you use different computers, for instance, you can export and import group of users. Besides, you can access a log of all the messaging operations. Moreover, you can use the command line to set other options that are not available from the graphical user interface.
